My girlfriend and I set out on our first time home buying adventure when we came into contact with Guy Tropeano. He acted as our buyer’s agent for the recent purchase of our new home in Waltham. From the initial visit where we talked about what were looking for in our home – he was honest, upfront and immediately gained our trust. Guy showed us home after home after home and was available around the clock. He was patient with us throughout the whole process and answered all of our questions honestly and truthfully (sometimes we did not love what we heard, but we respected the honesty). He truly cares about his clients. When it came time for our parents to view one of the homes we thought we fell in love with, he learned the names of every member of our family and probably still remembers those names now (7 months later). He has built a vast network of resources around him over the years (we often joked that “Guy has a guy for that” when it came to anything we needed … including changing the locks on our new home). Guy represented my wife and I in purchasing a home this fall in Shirley, MA. Guy is very knowledgable about the metro-west suburb area, and gave us his honest opinion about the towns we were interested in. He was very flexible and scheduled viewings at our convenience. During the viewings, Guy gave us time to look at the house ourselves, and then gave his opinion of the house also. At our first viewing, Guy took the time to find out what was important to us in our house shopping.
When we found the house we wanted, Guy did a great job at negotiating for us. We weren’t sure what to offer and Guy gave his opinion, which was a lower offer than we would have thought. But in less than a day and with 2 quick counter-offers, we had an accepted offer at lower than we had hoped for.
